Brad Wiskirchen, Founding CEO of Kount, appointed as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Chargebacks911 and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its financial institution-focused sister brand, Fi911.

The high-profile appointment signals an ambitious new chapter for Chargebacks911. Wiskirchen will spearhead strategic M&A initiatives, pursue high-value partnerships and expand relationships with financial institutions, payment processors and payment orchestration providers worldwide.

His appointment builds on Chargebacks911’s established global infrastructure, extensive industry connectivity and expanding portfolio of AI-native technologies, creating new opportunities to accelerate scale, diversify capabilities and unlock growth across the payments ecosystem.

“Brad’s appointment is about more than expanding our leadership team. It’s about accelerating what’s next,” said Monica Eaton, founder and CEO of Chargebacks911. “We’ve spent years building the technology, infrastructure and industry relationships that have positioned Chargebacks911 at the center of an increasingly important part of the payments ecosystem. The opportunities ahead extend well beyond traditional dispute management, and we’re bringing together the talent, capabilities and strategic relationships to pursue them at scale.”

Wiskirchen brings more than two decades of experience building, scaling and commercializing financial technology businesses. As Founding CEO of Kount, he helped transform the company from a true startup into a globally recognized fraud prevention technology provider, culminating in its acquisition by Equifax and Wiskirchen’s appointment to General Manager of Equifax Digital Solutions.

Wiskirchen also served as an industrial partner at CVC Capital Partners, a global private equity and investment firm, where he led the fintech investment efforts in North America. Additionally, Wiskirchen was named Chairman of the Salt Lake City Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, as well as a member of the International Monetary Fund’s (IMF) Interdepartmental Working Group on Finance and Technology, High-Level Advisory Group.

Wiskirchen has also served on numerous for-profit and non-profit boards in the payments, fraud, identity and compliance spaces, and he has co-founded and invested in many other businesses in those spaces.

“Brad has unmatched entrepreneurial acumen, understands the investment landscape and brings the commercial instincts and relationships to help us capitalize on opportunities that can meaningfully expand our reach,” said Benjamin Bridwell, President of Chargebacks911. “We’re not simply looking to grow our existing business. We’re looking to reshape what’s possible across the payments ecosystem.”

A key component of Wiskirchen’s mandate will be expanding the company’s presence across the financial institution sector as CEO of Fi911, Chargeback911’s dedicated sister brand serving issuing banks, acquiring banks and other financial services providers. Fi911 extends Chargebacks911’s core dispute management competencies into the financial institution market, providing tools for dispute processing, workflow automation, compliance monitoring, reconciliation and operational intelligence.

“What Monica and the team have built is remarkable, and I see enormous potential in what comes next. I haven’t seen a more impressive foundation of technology, industry connectivity and market reach,” said Wiskirchen. “I’ve spent my career building and scaling technology companies, and it’s rare to find a business with this combination of proprietary technology, established market reach and opportunity for expansion. Chargebacks911 has already built the foundation. Now we have an opportunity to dramatically accelerate its scale through strategic acquisitions, new partnerships and expansion into adjacent markets. The convergence of AI, payments intelligence and financial services is creating extraordinary opportunities, and I believe Chargebacks911 is uniquely positioned to capitalize on them. I’m excited to work alongside Monica and the leadership team to help build the next chapter of this company’s success.”

Wiskirchen’s contributions to technology and entrepreneurship have earned numerous accolades, including recognition as an Idaho Business Review ICON and an induction into Idaho’s Technology Hall of Fame in 2023.

“Brad brings the rare combination of entrepreneurial experience, investment perspective and deep industry relationships,” Eaton added, “We share a belief in challenging conventional thinking and building businesses that make a lasting impact. I couldn’t be more excited about what we’ll accomplish together – and it’s an added bonus to welcome another fellow Idahoan to the team.”

The next generation of payments technology won’t be defined by isolated solutions. It will be built by connecting intelligence, infrastructure and capabilities across the entire transaction lifecycle.
