Leah Missildine, vice president of strategy and enterprise services.
Her appointment strengthens the firm’s ability to help governments, public safety agencies and technology partners navigate the challenges of modernizing emergency response systems. Recognizing that successful modernization requires more than technology alone, TSG Advisors brings together expertise in public policy, procurement, funding, governance and implementation to help clients move from strategic planning to measurable results.
“What sets Leah Missildine apart is her rare blend of deep expertise, hands-on experience and a commitment to authentic relationship building,” said Laurie Flaherty, chair of the 911der Women Board of Directors and former coordinator for the National 9-1-1 Program. “She doesn’t just deliver recommendations; she listens deeply, stays engaged and ensures organizations have the support they need to succeed over the long haul.”
A recognized national authority in emergency communications, Missildine has contributed extensively to the industry’s foundational frameworks through appointments to key national boards, federal task forces, and working groups. Her service includes leadership contributions to the NG911 Institute, the National Association of State 9-1-1 Administrators (NASNA), the Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council (CSRIC), the FCC’s Ending 9-1-1 Fee Diversion Now Strike Force, and the Recommended Minimum Training Guidelines for Public Safety Telecommunicators (RMTG). She is also an active advocate for workforce wellness and leadership development across the 9-1-1 community.
Missildine’s leadership at Alabama 9-1-1 followed 15 years at the local agency level directing public safety communications operations for the City of Auburn. Combining front-line operational command with executive regulatory authority, Missildine possesses a rare 360-degree perspective on the statutory, technical and intergovernmental dynamics that define public safety modernization.
“Leah Missildine is a true force when it comes to public safety,” said Jason Fuqua, managing principal at TSG Advisors – Public Safety. “Having transformed Alabama’s program and contributed to national advancements in public safety, she’s poised to be a real asset to governments and organizations interested in adopting and implementing next-level technologies in emergency response.”
At TSG Advisors, Missildine will advise governments, public safety agencies and technology partners on emergency communications strategy, multi-agency coordination, acquisitions and sustainable funding. Her work will focus on helping clients navigate complex decisions and successfully implement large-scale public safety initiatives.
“TSG Advisors represents a purposeful balance of shared values and mission-driven work,” said Missildine. “I am energized to roll up my sleeves alongside this dedicated team to drive innovation and provide dependable, long-term support for public safety leaders.”
Missildine holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Public Administration from Auburn University and maintains the Emergency Number Professional (ENP) credential.
